The tape I got from ‘soundboard’ they claim is the ‘Full uncensored tape’. Whether that is true I don’t know but
it is 4:50 min. and not the 30 sec. fabrication they usually give you. It doesn’t sound like it has been tempered with. You will have
to listen to it several times in order to make a bit of sense out of it. I don’t think anybody sounds scared at all. I heard about
another tape on which Simpson says: “I’ll have to be on my intimidating best”. Which would prove him innocent, as why would you have
to be that when you have those people at gunpoint? Anyway, he doesn’t sound very intimidating to me. They react to him like as if
they are pacifying an angry child, and that is exactly what he sounds like. The other guys act a bit more macho, but with no effect.
(Note that it is not Simpson who says: "Let nobody leave the room") I say: there are no guns, but judge for yourself.
No guns, no crime. There are no signs of physical violence and there are no threats. Nobody sounds scared.
Obviously, the beginning and the end of the event are not on the tape. I can imagine that Riccio didn’t start the recording
straight away, but why would he stop it before it’s over? I say: he cut off the end. So maybe he cut off the beginning as well.
According to Simpson's statement, at the end Fromong claimed that not all the things they took belonged to Simpson. "I spoke
to Bruce before I left the room, he told me what was his, and I called them, I got to the car and said ‘exactly what do you have I
want to send it back to you." That doesn't sound very much like an armed robbery, does it? Which explains why the end of the tape
is missing.
You can hear both ‘victims’ saying: “Mike took it”, demonstrating they knew the goods they were selling were stolen. Selling stolen goods is a crime. That is the only crime I hear evidence of.
